Moving Forward with No Regrets
There was much on demon slayer’s mind when he left the Temple of Time.
For one, it felt strange to be visiting the place he once helped conquer. To see it almost completely restored to its former glory despite the foreign presence of darkness lingering deep within pleased him—it helped assauge some of the long standing guilt towards serving such a horrible monster. Perhaps in the near future, he could help eradicate the source completely, and the temple’s restoration would be complete.
Then there was Mastema, his longtime servant. He cannot help but feel bad for her in her current state. A fierce, powerful little cat demon

The conversation started easily enough.
For all his prickliness, Freud found Phantom remarkably candid when the topic was not deeply personal. The man held absolutely no shame in sharing with Freud some of his oddities, and Freud had no qualms in asking the thief more about them, regardless of how disturbing they were.
On this day in particular however, he found himself sipping tea with Phantom on the deck of the Lumiere. It was one of those glorious lazy days where even a scholar like Freud would rather laze about than get any work done. Phantom, for whatever reason, had insisted on him visiting and had lured the dragon master with a r

The World Tree, despite her imprisonment, was rarely uncomfortable. Given Damien’s guardians had proved to be a formidable force for would be liberators to handle, adventurers had quickly come to the conclusion that Alice might be bored while trapped in Root Abyss waiting for them to free her. No one in Maple world could stand to see a sweet looking creature trapped in such a dark place, and often brought her books, tea, chairs even a blanket so that she was always comfortable. One of them had even rigged the place with some sort of electricity generator, enabling her to make small meals should she ever get hungry.
It was all very swee
It was well known that Kerning City’s bars had some of the best night life in in all of Maple world.
And to one -temporarily- discouraged cannoneer, after sending off his crush Vala into a pissy rage (which was far too easy to do as of late with the knowledge that her brother was alive and causing havoc in Sleepywood, possibly pitting them against each other), there was no place he’d rather bemoan his bad luck in than a cheap sleazy bar with equally sleazy people. He’d think about the whole thing later. Or forget about it and move on. Probably the latter.

Tin raises the glass of wine at Vala, who glares at him, voice low. "Not here, Tin. Have you no sense of privacy? It is supposed to be a secret organization. You can't just go blabbing about my rank like that. And why did you pick a public restaurant to treat me to dinner anyway? You know how much I despise public gatherings."
"Aww Vala, don't be like this. The organization isn't near as secret anymore. Every decent fighter in Mapleworld is in the Silent Crusade. Even I am. Just relax and enjoy yourself for once. Nobody can hear us anyway, I reserved this corner table f

[FiM] A Meddlesome Gift
There was nothing that Cadence loved doing more than bringing ponies who were struggling romantically closer through her special ability of bringing out their hidden romantic feelings. As her spells only drew out the positive feelings that were hidden, it rarely ever caused a problem for them and she loved seeing the joy on their faces once they remembered just why they loved their partner in the first place.
She was not perfect though, and she knew that. There had been a handful of times when her seemingly harmless spells had caused some serious havoc (though she always made things right in the end) within the relation

I open my eyes slowly as I was passed from one set of hands to the next. From the icy cold, lifeless hands of the witch, to the warm, alive ones of Sophie, I did not particularly care one way or the other to where I was transferred, as I knew what was coming either way.
I had cheated death once already. It was time to go. And yet as Sophie looked at me with those pleading eyes, I felt like I couldn't quite give her my consent. I was a demon after all, I have and always would be, more interested in my own desires.

Before I met Howl, I was a demon that had already lived many years of life. Despite that fact, when I st
